Rich buckwheat balls

picsart2016-10-11-17-25-591This recipe can be vegan or vegetarian depending on your taste. It’s both healthy and vеry tasty.





What you need:

250 g. of buckwheat
2 red peppers
1 head of onion
A can of peas
A little block of cheese (if you’re a vegan you can skip this)
1 egg
Some flour

How to prepare:

Boil the buckwheat in water in 3:1 proportion. Slice the peppers and the onion in very small pieces and boil them together with the peas in a pan. Mix the squeezed buckweat with the vegetables. Scramble this mixture with the cheese, the egg and 3 spoons of flour so it becomes stiff enough that you can make a ball out of it. You can add some salt if you haven’t used cheese.

Make balls with the size of a typical meatball. Put them on a cooking paper and let bake them for 20 minutes in the oven at 220 degrees.
